Golden Gamers

Welcome! We are the Golden Gamers!

In 2016, a group of friends decided to make an Extra Life team at their alma mater, West Chester University. Over the years, more and more students wanted to join in with the Golden Gamers, turning our small team into a campus organization. Now, our alumni network spans over 50 dedicated players, all with a shared mission: gaming for good. 

This year, we're aiming to reach a lifetime fundraising goal of $100,000 for kids in need. To do so, we need to raise $20,935.76.

OUR GAME DAY: AUGUST 17, 2024

In 2023, thanks to our amazing donors and supporters, we hit a record of over $19,000 in fundraising for Penn State Health Children's Hospital and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP.)

All donations go 100% towards helping the amazing kids at our local Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, supporting both in care and research. Each location treats thousands of kids annually, regardless of their illness, injury, or family's ability to pay. Discover just how much your donations help by clicking here.

This year, we are hosting our Golden Gamers HQ at Uplink Studios in Glenmoore, PA. Uplink Studios is a state-of-the-art eSports and gaming center dedicated on providing community-based experiences in gaming for Chester County. We are honored that they are sharing their space with us, and hope you visit!
