Who are we?

Duquesne University's Tabletop Society is proud to present its 2nd Annual Livestream through the Extra Life program! We will be on camera for almost one full day playing different kinds of games to raise money for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals across the nation. Attached below, you can find the link to our livestream. We will be streaming from Saturday, August 31st at 6:00am to Sunday, September 1st at 2:00am on YouTube. Due to health and safety reasons, we will not be streaming for a full day, however the donations will be open for the remaining 4 hours to reach 24 hours total. If you attend Duquesne University, and wish to join us, come to the Africa Room in the Student Union building with your ID! We will have a plethora of board games, RPG manuals, and trading card games to check out. Meals and snacks will be provided by Parkhurst dining!

Why are we doing this?

We're on a mission to play games and fundraise with hopes of changing kids' health; Dungeons and Dragons, Magic: The Gathering, Settler's of Catan, and Betrayal at House on the Hill are a few examples of what to expect. We've each chosen our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital to dedicate our service towards. With 170 hospitals to chose from, each location treats thousands of kids annually, regardless of their illness, injury, or family's ability to pay. We have members of our club from all over the United States, there are ample Children's Hospitals that can benefit from your donation!

What can you do to help?

Our goal is to surpass the $8,064 we raised last year and we can't do that without your help! Be sure to read our team members' stories by clicking the roster tab, as they each have their own individual reason for being with us. Some team members even have incentives and milestones for reaching certain donation goals.  We understand that everyone's financial situation is unique, if you are unable to monetarily donate then it would help us just as much if you share our website link! Post it on social media, send it in a company email, share it in a group chat, etc.! This event would not be possible without you--the viewer! Be sure to interact with the players participating in the live stream as there will be a live chat feed! Again, Duquesne students, faculty, and alumni are welcome to join us in person for this event as you would be helping by keeping us sane and awake.

Who made this possible?

This is all made possible through the efforts of those on the Extra Life team and their connections to the Children's Miracle Network Hospital. Our club members will be fundraising for children's hospitals from across the country and this platform makes it easy. We share an immense gratitude towards DPC, the Duquesne Program Council for financing the food for this event, catered by Parkhurst Dining. DPC is a student-run programming body that can provide other students with the opportunity to run events such as this Livestream! If you are a Duquesne student, be sure to check them out. If you want to check us out but are camera shy that's fine! Our club meets regularly during the school semester on Saturday from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm in Fisher Hall Room 611. Shout out to SJP for inspiring this event, rank 89 on the leaderboards wow!

We need your help!

Your donation is tax-deductible and will help change kids' health for a better future. Simply click on the "Donate" button at the top of the page to help. These donations are going to children who need it most, so don't be discouraged if you cannot make a substantial contribution--every penny counts (though, the minimum donation is 1.00$)! It is our hope that through the efforts of this philanthropic event we can help support children's hospitals across the nation. We are grateful for any and all of the support in making this event possible.
