Play Your Way For Game Day Season

We celebrate a national Game Day Season every year from September-November. This is a season of community fundraising that leads to our national signature Game Day on the first weekend of November. Gamers unite to play games, fundraise, and donate for local children's hospitals through Children's Miracle Network. Whether it’s a livestream, a tabletop night, or a full day of gaming with friends, you can raise money any day that works for you, even if it's not on the national Game Day signature weekend.

Bringing Community Together Through Gaming

Fundraisers stream or play board games, video games, tabletop games, or any games they enjoy while encouraging friends, family, and supporters to donate. Every dollar raised helps provide critical treatments, essential equipment, research, and compassionate care for children in need. Whether you play solo or with a team, Extra Life Game Day Season is a meaningful and fun way to make a lasting impact in your community while celebrating the power of gaming for good.

Extra Life is about more than playing games—it's about giving hope. Every dollar raised, every hour played, and every person who joins this community helps ensure children and families receive the care they need when it matters most. Together, we're proving that when gamers unite, we can create a lasting impact far beyond the screen."

It's just really wonderful to be able to support a cause that really helps kids stay healthy and also personally impacted my family. The Extra Life community is a second family to me. When I moved to Raleigh a few years ago, away from my normal home, I was really at a loss for who are my friends, who's my family, who can I go to? And I found the local guild there and started volunteering with them and instantly made a best friend for life just by having this common cause.
